When the world was full of circles
It's Signal No. 1 here in Iloilo. I don't know what's the name of the new "bagyo" that entered our place and I hope that it will not be "Bagyong Frank Part 2". We were dismissed very early so that we can go home early too.
I was browsing the internet when I realized I haven't posted anything about Chris Tiu being nominated as Favorite Filipino Athlete (other nominees are Manny Pacquiao, Japoy Lizardo, Miguel Molina and Efren "Bata" Reyes) in the Nickolodeon's Kids Choice Awards. And who would think that it's the first ever Kids Choice Awards here in the Philippines. I voted for so many times and I even bugged my classmates and friends to vote too. I hope that our votes will surely help declare Chris Tiu as the Favorite Filipino Athlete.
Right now, I'm also longing to have my own copy of Lifestyle Asia magazine because the Ateneo Blue Eagles are the ones in the cover and of course, Chris Tiu's in the middle. It reportedly costs P175.00 but I don't care because the most important thing is that I have my own copy. I checked his blog (Chris Tiu's blog) and I saw the cover of the magazine because it was attached in his blog entry about the magazine.
I'm also tired of listening to news and hearing something about the new US President, Barack Obama. Well, he's been discussed during our Journalism class just this afternoon but I didn't listen to the discussion. Does he look like Chris Brown? I guess, not!
I hope that there will be no class tomorrow. And I wish all those seniors that will take the De La Salle University Entrance Exam in Bacolod this coming Saturday a good luck.
By the way, would you mind if I let you vote for Chris Tiu as Favorite Filipino Athlete in Nickolodeon's Kid Choice Awards? If you want, please log on to http://kca.nicksplat.com/. Voting ends on November 15 and awards night will be on November 29. Thank you :)
