After a long time. Hello college!
It's been almost a month since my last entry. So, here I am, writing again. So let me tell you about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees. JOKE -- CORNY. Let me tell you all the things that happened to me since the new school year started, my college life.
I almost forgot about my blogger account because I'm really busy with school. I don't have time for blogging (I can't think of anything to write, even a topic) but here I am now, I'm kinda bored so I decided to open my account here and write. Well, pre-lim exams are done except for Sociology. I went straight home from my NSTP-LTS class. Hurray!
Okay, I'm finally, a college student! This is what I almost dreamt of. I mean, this is what I totally want -- the challenge, college life. Being a college student is very different from being a high school student. In college, it's not spoonfeeding (you really need to do things by yourself), you've got different subjects, more vacant periods, new set of classmates and friends, sort of scary professors and a lot more. This is somehow new to me and an interesting thing to deal with. So I say that, I'm learning to love and like college now.
Being in college is not a joke. I'm almost super duper stressed-out because of homeworks, school activities, late dismissal on MWF, not-so-hard and confusing lessons, NSTP on Saturdays and so many things to deal with and so many things to do. I'm tired yet busy. Oh my. Violet fire, I really need you.
Alright. So let's start from the very beginning. My first day in college life? I say, it was okay, fine, not that perfect. I got to meet loads of new people and I met my new set of college professors and they are all fine. At first, I was really hesitant to attend my classes but confidence helped me kick off all the hesitations (thanks to my Assumption spirit. LOL). I thought I will be a loner, stranger or alien all the way out but thank you, I got to meet new friends. My new classmates are very friendly and they're really very accommodating. Thanks to them!
When I entered the classroom, I set my mind to be ready. I mean, this is the start of the challenge. This is really is it! I'm ready. So, introducing yourself is obviously, a part of the opening of the school year. So, I'm not that shy enough to stand up and say "Hello, I'm Mara Therese S. David. I'm from Assumption-Iloilo and I'm taking Marketing Management. Thank you." Some people got to have a reaction after I introduced myself since all of them knew I was from Assumption-Iloilo. Well, what's the reaction? I may say that some were a little bit negative because when you hear about Assumptionistas, people would often describe us negatively. Anyway, I'm not guilty, I didn't mind it anyway. Some were even amazed with my penmanship. I don't know why. Maybe, that's because I'm using the "what-they-call" Assumption Handwriting which is almost similar to French Writing (I'm not that sure). Thanks for the compliments!
But whatever happened on that day, I say that I had a nice first day in college. And I promised to myself to do my best and to be a very good student in class. I'm a college student now, I really need to be independent and responsible now. I also want to meet new friends still and I want to deal with different kinds of people. Eventhough I'm out of Assumption now, I still bring out the values I learned. As you think, so it is. I'm off to college, I'm enjoying it.
Right now, I finally got my free time this weekend. I mean, I've got nothing to do this weekend. I'm off to dreamland and I'll be resting the whole day long. I super duper miss malling or having coffee with my high school friends. I super duper miss them too. I'm kinda not feeling well right now due to a headache. So, this is all for today. Bye bye :D 2:11 PM

More about me?
Hello there, trespasser. JOKE. I'm Mara Therese Segovia David, a lovely Pinay, a certified internet addict. I'm a freshman college student taking B.S. Business Administration Major in Marketing Management at Central Philippine University. I'm sweet 16. October 27, 1992. I know that I'm everyone's favorite. I mean, I'm everyone's crying lady, sweet dream and worst nightmare. KIDDING. I obviously love remembering very good experiences about my life that's why I often write here in my blogsite. Right now, I'm learning to love photography and I want to learn more about it. I love socializing and meeting new people. I love gaining new friends, be one of my perks! I love listening to music, chatting with friends, reading a book and go malling. I can't live without coffee, lipbalm and my phone. I love watching basketball games, I'm currently addicted to it now. I'd rather travel to Europe or in some US countries than having a party for my 18th birthday. I want to learn a foreign language (either French or Mandarin). I'm just having a blast in my life and sometimes, I'm not aware of what's happening. GREAT. I'm a true-blooded Assumptionista, but an old girl now. I love the people around me, that's why, I love you :)
Unconditional Desires.
I only want YOU. Only YOU. Yes, YOU :) Let's play a love game. I wanna take a ride on your disco stick. BWAHAHAHA.
If you want me to shut up, just give me my favorite Skittles!
All I want now, is a HIGHSCHOOL Reunion. I miss you, friends. Hope to see you again soooooon! :D
The endless connections.
Mix the words up.
You have my thanks.
