The Realization
Assumption-Iloilo celebrated its 99th Foundation Day yesterday and I really came to attend the mass for the old boys and girls of the Assumption. I even forgot all the things about the Do Day of the Centralians. Well, I don't even care about it. I mean, I want to help clean the environment but it was a wrong timing. I guess.
Okay. So that was it. 99th Foundation Day of Assumption-Iloilo. The countdown for the centennial celebration for next year started. I'm kinda excited to hear about the events that will happen next year. And I'm sure, I will celebrate with my fellow Assumptionistas, I mean, with the old boys and girls of the Assumption. Actually, my calendar was already marked for July 15, 2010. I'm excited!
Yesterday, I realized I want to come home. Assumption was my home for 13 long years. I miss my home, my school. I miss the old school days. I even miss my red skirt! I just miss my AC days. Everything being an Assumptionista is awesome, great. Like what they said, being an Assumptionista is totally different. You've got to have good values and you're really unique than the others. Being simple is more of becoming a perfect person, being real, being true.
I'm almost into realization that I have nothing to regret. I must be thankful for my Assumption education. My Assumption education is the best gift I've ever received in my entire life. I can say that I'm one of the luckiest persons in the world to have this kind of education. Assumption really taught me a lot. Like what Sr. Fidelis told us, eventhough we're out of the Assumption, we should bring with us the things and values we've learned and share it with the new people we encounter everyday. I'm sure I can share these with my new classmates and friends.
I learned that realization is really part of our lives. It just come and sometimes, go. When we realize, we learn. And when we learn, we share. And when we share, we can make other people's lives better :))
